I love Japan, been there a couple times and spent a year in Okinawa.aldobishalini wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 9:11 amPicked up a reg. Love the colors on both, but reg wins it for me. Plus being in Japan for the time being, I am getting tired of waking up at 1am for these drops. #toolazy #timededitioncauseimlazy

Deployed at the moment. Was in Okinawa first, now I am on mainland in Sasebo. Drops are killing me being midnight to 2am on average. It's clearly distinguishing the line between my "want to have it" and "need to have it"... which is good.
And Yakiniku is the shizznit over here. Also had this amazing spicy noodles with octopus dish last deployment. That was DELISH.

Several connections.
Shirt is a reference...
And apparently the movie syncs up Dark Side of the Moon style to the album.

yeah, connections in the books and the movies, in terms of names of books referencing smashing pumpkins albums, and scott wears smashing pumpkins shirts. lots of people online have said scott pilgrim introduced them to smashing pumpkins. i think the author of the books is a noted fan of the band too.
edit: ^^ answered above. so fast!

If you google it, the connection is all over, even to the point where some speculate the movie could be played in sync with the album, a la Dark Side Of the Rainbow
There definitely a connection there between the film and the album/SP, right from the beginning. I just never cared for the album.

feels like a spoof, not sure it makes a good movie poster so much as a nice art print

This one is lazy and trite, even for Mondo. So on the nose.
When does the Walk the Line/Cash album mix up print come out?

I'm waiting on a 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' print based on that Nivana album.wonkabars7 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 5:48 pmThis one is lazy and trite, even for Mondo. So on the nose.
