Mondo Poster News & Rumors
2 of my favorite movies. Looks sub-par or rushed for PCC, cant unsee the mouth. American Psycho by J Hughes is a very interesting concept, just not eye appealing. Should have used a colored background giving the outline of his head more definition with contrast. Or use a skin-tone smiling face(eyes) behind the neutral mask peel, leaving the black background. Just no black on black. Tobin did black on black for this too.
I do applaud mondo for grabbing past artists and the movies chosen. I'd like to see many more in the future.

I want to love this more but I also feel the composition is jarring or unappealing with the only human/robot contrast being the eyes.
Got that whole bloated/constipated expression or sex doll vibe. The lips should have been a bit more feminine or detailed, they seem puckered and too angular here imo. Some artistic license could have a allowed for a more aesthetically pleasing composition regardless.

i personally think the nostrils on the nose missing is the main problem, not sure if they would appear too close to the divide between human and robot to be included though.rubberneck wrote: ↑Thu Aug 19, 2021 10:12 amI want to love this more but I also feel the composition is jarring or unappealing with the only human/robot contrast being the eyes.

Is Antichrist supposed to look like a magazine cover? Seems like it must be intentional, from the vertical text down the right side (of superfluous info such as the runtime) to the small subtext below the title, but I can't figure out what it has to do with the movie, only watched it once... for reasons.

Did they not have likeness rights for Greta Gerwig? Or is the jpg compression just making her look weird?

Jane Doe isn’t alive, though, is my main problem.
Perspective is slightly downward looking and she’s got human eyes in the newbie, which both contribute to those issues imo. Also face halos.jvwoodford wrote: ↑Thu Aug 19, 2021 3:52 pmi personally think the nostrils on the nose missing is the main problem, not sure if they would appear too close to the divide between human and robot to be included though.rubberneck wrote: ↑Thu Aug 19, 2021 10:12 amI want to love this more but I also feel the composition is jarring or unappealing with the only human/robot contrast being the eyes.
