this. I don't have it but my brother does. it's killer.

Doesn't Ruas have a great Thin Red Line too? I seem to remember he has a really dark/creepy one . . .

Would love a great Platoon poster tho Playa - agree with you about the Shaw.

edit: Yeah too much for me, lol:

I like the Ruas much more than the Hanuka. The Hanuka just seems like a still from the movie.

It just freaks me the drymount out too much.

I think because it looks like a still from the movie and captures the feeling of miserable wet "green" heat so well is why I like the Tomer so much (the reg at least, don't love the color of the var).

I would agree that a poster can be basically a still from the film and still be an incredibly effective movie poster, so long as it evokes the same feeling(s) as the film itself. I actually think the Hanuka looks great and still have a copy in the collection, the Ruas just appeals to me much more as an amp.

Ruas Thin Red Line is an amazing illustration, but it doesn't really evoke the film for me. It feels too dark, which is perhaps an odd criticism about a piece of art for a film about war.

haha, I was just surprised when I looked at my order history . . . I would have gotten the FMJ but I'm on a print buying hiatus until I sell more.
