It's on a poster for a film that is literally about the Antichrist. Pretty sure that the use of the 'ok' symbol is apt and feeding into the rhetoric that it's a hate symbol and a sign of white nationalism.

It definitely depends what part if the world you are in. In UK for instance there is no way that symbol would be used to say anything other than OK.

Australia here and I know it as a hate symbol.

The context is that it's not supposed to be, nor usually is, a hate symbol, but it's been recently co-opted as such and is getting recognized as such. So nobody's fully wrong here, it's just the awkward insanity of seeing something innocuous turn into something else in the span of like, 2 years. It sucks but so does everything else these days.
