Guess it worked. Lol.
lol, was curious how it would work. Clock ran out, disappeared, and then the page was just stuttering without the poster; had to hit refresh to get the poster to come up.

Forgot about this and got one via the tweet notification, so I didn't see the timer hit zero and see if the add to cart button popped up automatically.

Blocked at my work as well. Page did not update automatically for me, timer just disappeared and I had to refresh to see the poster. Got kicked back to the homepage a couple times when I hit checkout but did manage to make it through. Seems like they just made it worse rather than improving the process. Not that it makes much difference since I don't seem to Mondo much these days.
