Has Mondo done anything worth a *flip* or a *care* or a *wall* since Edmiston's sharks?

yes

Durieux had an entire show

Taylor's Black Panthers

Halloween releases were pretty great

Ansin Man Who Fell to Earth and some other SDCC releases

those are the ones that stand out but there are a handful of others as well.

The hits have been few and far between...

Taylor is not my cup of tea visually, but to each their own. I guess you've got the collectible thing working for him on the variants (OMGMAHVEL) for as long as Mondo can keep him on board. LD had some hits but also had rookie printing errors and gorilla grips. Edmiston Halloween was a fun surprise but got hyped too hard with a huge print run, so its not a flip. Deck Suspiria was a good one.

But if I had to pick a flip, Foil Bowie & Shark both dried up on the secondary market and are htf and seem to be in forever homes for the most part.

Couple things certainly wall worthy, but barely anything in the flip file.

U right u right, what I should have said was

"the flip was fleeting and the hype caused it to tank on the second market not hold any value."

I assume strict licensing agreements, but the idea Sara Deck with Pretty in Pink (or any Hughes 80s era) sure had a lotta potential.

Never thought I would say this, but I may become a tiki mug owner tomorrow. I am assuming the prices indicated in the email are per set of two?

AFAIK it's one mug, predator on one side and Dutch on the other.

^

Well, it ain't. Looked at it again and it appears I will not be becoming a tiki mug owner tomorrow. First of all, $50 or $75 plus shipping (these were the two options I considered) for a mug that is to be used daily is drymounting nuts. Second, Arnie looks like... Well, doesn't look like Arnie. The plan was, before my lack of knowledge and reading/comprehension skills had been discovered (it does say in the email "Predator tiki mug"), to gift or otherwise get rid of the Arnie mug.
