I walked by an hour before the floor closed and shape of water & Mary and the witch's flower were available. I think a few others were too but I can't say for sure which ones... maybe Coraline or Planet of the Apes?

The blog may be up to date given the Sold Out statuses on most

Likely not entirely up to date, as the Infinity War var certainly sold out. I'd imagine stock depleted from Sunday isn't reflected.

Random question, when did Mondo start charging tax for California? Just noticed it on the timed edition...

I'm guessing since they've been branching out to other products, there might be some base of operation in CA that forces them to charge tax for the company overall. Maybe their partnership with USAopoly?

Last poster I got from Mondo delivered to me in CA had an edible in there that had me walking on the moon for two days so I'm assuming it's some wonderful new law they're forced into complying with.

I thought their toy division was headquartered in CA.

Hey, my Silence and Moonlight posters that I ordered in April finally arrived.

The printing on Silence especially looks great.

I noticed this too, both Die Hard and Drive (surprisingly) had only a few prints left on my final pass of the booth. Ghostbusters variant was also sold out. I can't remember how big the stacks were for Dark Crystal or Labyrinth. Should be a few of both Coraline and Fallen Kingdom that make it online.

Quite a few of those should drop online as well. It was the ONE print I wanted to get going into SDCC and it bummed me out that there wasn't a lot of love for it amongst everyone in line. The colors are beautiful in person, I'm hoping Mondo gets Powell to do the rest of the films now that he has done Beneath and War.

SDCC hurt the wallet. In the madness that was the MCU 10 year variant + Annihilation variant drop, my Taylor got some battle damage. While it's unfortunate that it happened, this wasn't going to leave my possession in the foreseeable future anyway.

If they're owned by Alamo and Alamo has offices/theaters in California, they would be subject to those taxes in order to comply with state laws. Also, sales tax was only avoidable in shipping from out of state previously, which is how a lot of purchases from Amazon and Ebay were able to avoid it, at least early on. Lots of states have been trying to fight that in order to get their cut.

I used to work somewhere that would occasionally sell to customers out of state, and we always had to comply with states that had no sales tax, removing the tax from purchases. For everyone else, the sales tax difference wasn't a big deal for inexpensive items.
