Eh, it'll still dip, at least for a little while. I mean, I bought Stout Avengers in the secondary a year after the drop for half of what it's going now. GOTG didn't get the price bump til at least a year after. Less about whether it's worth it and more about how many people just have it as a sale/trade chip.

Actually Matt Taylor trolling people was pretty epic.

They all dip, but some are more short lived than others

Mondo should start posting YouTube videos of their staff reading mean tweets and Facebook comments.

I was under the common belief that I must have every drop! Only later did I realize there will always be another drop.
I had a bit of a meltdown over Olly Moss Star Wars - carted, lost at credit card processing. Think I probably had some pretty typical "this sucks, so unfair, WOE IS ME" Facebooks posts about it.

Up to that point I hadn't been that into prints, but hadn't missed a mondo that I'd gone for, so it was a bitter pill.

started reading through everything here after that and learned the game. I still suck and am slow as balls, but I know the way to at least put myself in the game.

moving on from CW for a minute . . . did anyone get their Kylo Ren Mitchell? Got mine today and it's the first Mitchell SW that I've gotten in a tube, wondered if it was an anomaly or if that's now SOP.

(just seemed weird to get such a small print in a 3" wide 24" long tube . . .)

Been asked and rolled is apparently gonna be the norm. The claim is to minimize damage.

thanks, missed that.

I know the Marvel Mitchells were all sent to me rolled, but I definitely preferred the flatpack.

It's probably just in my head but Mitchell's portraits/giclees seem to have so much ink on them that I always think they are way more susceptible to damage when rolled. edit: by "damage" I mean scuffing/chips, what have you

It was on FB, somebody emailed. Not necessarily great given the size of the tubes they're using, but eh, I'm not the one who has to deal with it so I can't speak to it, really.

I'd prefer they not roll them but I have a feeling the real reason is because it drastically cuts down on packing time.

FWIW I've been burned by prints that have been shipped flat (bearing in mind collectors will send with something like masonite to protect it, but galleries/stores just go with cardboard) getting damaged in transit, so I can sorta understand. But maybe my postal worker just felt like stepping on my stuff, who knows.
