Having my artwork feature on this record is quite literally a dream come true. Mastodon have always been, since their inception, one of my favourite bands - their music and themes really resonating with me since the moment I heard them.
The incredible artwork created by Paul Romano was a huge influence on me personally and very much an inspirational benchmark in terms of record artwork. So, a huge warm thanks to Brann for seeking me out and inviting me to work on this and so many other pieces. Always an honour and a pleasure.

'THE GREY WIZARD' is a Limited Edition silk screen print originally inspired by the classic BLACK SABBATH song of the same name, featuring the eponymous character as described in the lyrics.
Beautifully silk screen printed on 12"x18" 100lb French Charcoal Brown Paper including metallic gold ink. Strictly limited to 100 prints and 10 silver variants.

'ASTRAEA' is a Giclee print originally created for The Mondo 'Originals' show in 2015.
Astraea is a goddess from Greek mythology. Known as the "Star Maiden", she was the last immortal to live among the humans on Earth before leaving in disgust at humanity's brutality and wickedness. According to legend, Astraea will one day come back to Earth, bringing with her the return of the utopian Golden Age of which she was the ambassador.
