Not sure if you're talking about costs or speed. However, BDP has added an option for UPS shipping. Last week, I had one print ship from them with UPS. It arrived to my door about 3 days after leaving the UK. Wildly fast.
wow. last print i ordered from the uk took 2 months to arrive.
When did it ship though? that's the question. I had a print ship from the US in early May and it took 2 months to arrive. Turns out this was when fudge hit the proverbial fan with postal services and backlogs began to happen. So my parcel got buried basically and took ages to come through the system. Wouldn't surprise me if something similar happened in UK, especially if it was travelling to the US. Now everything I've had shipped from overseas arrives pretty quick.

Hope they do some Antonioni or Ozu.
Fulfilled on both counts.

Very excited for this. Perfect match of artist to property. I hope this means we'll get more Antonioni in the future.

Also, while I know films like Red Desert and his alienation trilogy are the most well known, I'd highly recommend checking Antonioni's THE PASSENGER. It's got a very low-key Jack Nicholson playing a journalist who takes on the identity of a dead man. Amazing film.

The Passenger is terrific. One of the all-time great final shots. Okay, second to last final shot, but it's still a stunner.

Red Desert is my favorite Antonioni, though, so I'm stoked.

I've only seen Red Desert once, and I didn't connect with it right away. Feel like I'm due for a revisit. Most Antonioni's take me a few viewings to really sink in.
