This will probably get lost in all the NYCC hype, but that print is gorgeous. Not crazy about 18x27, but still, it's amazing that we're getting posters for the Three Colors Trilogy.

I love it and Ngai's work in general, but releasing it in October is...not the call I would've made. Alas.

No hate here (already appreciate Three Colours getting tackled, and I'm a huge Ngai fan), but for me just a very expensive month and it can't be helped that many in this particular hobby may be spread thin. Quieter month and this would've been an instabuy. Just the way it is sometimes.

^ Yeah, I love Victo too. I'm really stoked to see she's doing more movie posters, as I personally thought she may be done with them after the last couple of commissions she's done. Great job matching her up to the three colors trilogy, to be fair. Her stuff epitomizes what I love about alternative movie posters. This one revealed today is no different.

Think she'll still be doing movie posters, but commissions are really a different beast. Difference between working with an AD directly (and I always love that she gives her ADs a shout-out) versus waiting on group-think. No doubt the trilogy's gonna look lovely.
