I would say the poster might be worth the blind by. Or watch the movie tonight!
Just read a tiny bit about it, sounds awesome! Gonna check it out this weekend after I binge FFXV.

So the sale on Friday is for the regular edition, anyone know if the variant is already sold out?

I went from liking the Playtime poster to not. It's not bad, I mean the buildings are exceptionally well done. But the red faced people and the font used for "Playtime" is too distracting. And I do realize that the artist just copied the font from the original movie poster, but I'm not feeling it.

Kind of which there was more to differentiate the variant.

I don't know that I've ever seen a variant where it was so hard to tell what's actually different from the regular. Are these really two different prints?

dammit can't unsee that. Maybe in person it works a little better. but yeah. a more muted color would've worked better

mostly agree - I think it's a fantastic poster ruined by the choice of using that Playtime font slapped on the building. The rest of the poster has such clean lines and is so mid-century mod, then that font just looks like it was dropped in with a photoshop layer that never got adjusted.

Went from a must buy to an easy pass for me.

I disagree. I think the font is a sharp contrast to the uniformity of all the buildings, which is kind of the point of the whole film.

I'll be happy with either one, but I'm going to try for the variant.

I love this style. How can you hate the font? Isnt that the original font from the movie title?
