Totally get the Vhils comparison but there's a slight difference for me. Vhils puts a thin layer of concrete down before taking it away to make his image. The layer that Pejac worked with seemed to be already there. I could be wrong though.

Seeing and creating from what was already there (Pejac) vs. building up in order to remove (Vhils).

Don't get me wrong though - I love Vhils' work, team tried to get him to come to Rochester but didn't work out.

Maybe Pejac did out the concrete down first, I certainly don't know for sure.
