maybe there is some confusion to what I said...

this was right as doors opened for MondoCon, BTTF 3 was released in the outside Mondo tent. LD arrived late (or maybe prints did?) and he was basically signing them as doors opened. this was one in the big stack of prints he had to sign for the day to be sold within the Mondo booth tent. volunteer was just doing what they were told and LD got pissy because of (one) small mistake.

he's just a knob, and won't get any more of my money. simple as that.

A bad day, or moment, shouldn't define the person. It's not like he's come out with some outrages political views, or said something harmful to a group. But if that's your view, all good.

Is it too late to see if we can commission LD to put out a Lost print?

I must be the only one in the world that thinks his poster for The Bear is one of his best pieces

But yea, dumb on his part the way he handled that

Wait...hold on...what's wrong with him posting that? I'm going to straight up say Bill Clinton rode with Epstein on that infamous plane more than the "4" times they tried to claim he did. When proof shows 26 to 28 times he flown on that private jet. Picture proof everywhere. Laurent seems like a pretty great guy if he's posting that video you're criticizing him for. :pint:

Edit: And Prince Andrew is guilt as sin. The Royal Family railroading the investigation in 2016 as seen in the Veritas video. 2016...hmmm when Hillary was running.

Agreed. I was going to buy it too! Then the comment about 'true fans' really put me off. I wonder if he felt that way over his overpriced Breakfast at Tiffanys print too?

Also, that new Modes...

I still admire his work, but I'd rather support artists that feel like they genuinely appreciate and respect their fans.
To chime in from the other side a bit - my memories of meeting Laurent come from a few Thought Bubble festivals where he sat for hours, doing sketch after sketch for fans, for free. After Thought Bubble closed for the day, Laurent and Jack usually came along for food/beers in the evening with the fans too, they're very approachable and friendly. They have also opened up their studio/home and invited folk along to see how they work etc.

I'm getting old, I barely remember that. Or maybe that's a comment on his output, lol.

edit: now I remember the Apocolypse Now's and Shining prints . . . there was some decent stuff in that I guess.

Kinda dig the continuity from his earlier Hitchcock The Birds print. That being said, I'm so glad I never subbed, history has proven subscriptions never end end well and, well, they just never end.

When in doubt, rehash the hits.
