Can't go back to giclee or screen printing now ;-)
Is the letterpress process long and painful compared to screen printing? The result is so much better, but there is maybe a limitation in the number of colours?

It's more costly. You can't go as big either. However they can get some pretty fine detail out of a print... because of the way it works with a piece of metal literally being pressed into the paper you can't have the same sort of colour separations and gradients that you can do with a screen print. It almost demands to be a more simple and graphic design.

I did do some hybrid letterpress and screen prints for Influences, that was a fun process.

I'll be doing a new letterpress for thought bubble... these things look so great in person.

I've seen different things saying its "8" or "8.5" x11. Can you confirm Mr. Cakes?

100% 8x11 same as the others in the set.

Rolling on going to do more of these smaller sized Giclees. It's going to be a fun series. Next up will be another Moffat show... but then after that the sky is the limit. May even take commissions on these. :wink:
