And seeing your talent, you definitely should not let 5 years go by, get on the drawing and have at it. You've got a gift, never let it go, work at it!blingaling wrote:Pretty amateurish compared to the greats that inspire me, but here's something I just completed.

did this one a few months back. decopaged pages from a book from the 20's, acrylic paint and varnish on a wood panel. i wanted to make something to go on a big chunk of wall:
wife wasn't a fan, so i did a different one, with a photo that i took on our honeymoon of the brooklyn bridge. the pages are from "last exit to brooklyn"
they're both in the 42" x 50" range.

Just got back from life drawing
While the drawing is well rendered, I'm confused as to the symbolism in this work and interested as to why you chose the particular imagery you used for Kim Kardashian in this piece, particularly since it evokes the Caribbean/Latin American plantation.EraserStreetArt wrote:EraserStreetArt.tumblr.com

I have finished my first digital print wich is inspired by the Punisher. I have shown you the original art some weeks back. I hope you like it. Some feedback would be great.

There's some great work in this thread. Seriously, keep it up!
This is my first attempt at a lino cut, but I wouldn't exactly say it's my creation… Really happy with the way it's coming along, except that the balloon is backwards. :p (This was test print #2.)
