I gotta' post a pic. I'm real excited about this. This is my first color (on my first 3 color print) for my next project. I used house paint w/retarder (again) and I'm impressed by how well it works.

These won't get done until next weekend. I'll wait to post another pic then...don't want to turn this into my own personal process thread. It's been a good day. 8)

Some more guaoche paintings on Arches paper I recently completed. I'm doing a whole series of portraits that deal with diversity and ethnicity.

The large piece is the finished piece. The two smaller paintings are color studies.

Great job! I did one a few years back and know how much of a pain a Fett helmet is!

And something I'm currently working on.

I haven't decided which of the 5 colors to use in the background yet for the larger piece. Any opinions?

Still working on my first 3-color print...thought I'd have all 3 colors down, by now. I have a redo - my 3rd screen (black) emulsion problem. Two colors down now, though. The right print has my transparency over it. Registration is off...no vacuum table, instructor said he's not too worried about that.

Ta-da!

My 'Hitchcock-North by Northwest' print.
