I am almost glad I didn't check the site, those sketches would have been difficult to resist.

Picked up one of each of the non-hand finished prints. Was on my phone (doing the stay at home dad thing) and so I never even noticed the sketches. Which is good, as I'd probably regret spending the extra money.

Scored a reg from COA and a black from graffiti prints. Not a HUGE fan of Chevrier's "no mouth" pieces, but just love the 30+ colour prints she puts out.

Yeah, I carted 2 different ones but just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. It's really enticing to get an original from such a talented artist but the ones I ended up being able to cart were not that appealing to me. I know a ton of work has gone into her being able to do what she does now, but $500+ for something that most likely took her 15 minutes to create just leaves me a little cold.

That's pretty much how I feel about the sketches. For the price, I think there could've been a little more work put into them.

Was able to pick up a non-hand finished from Graffiti this morning. Looking forward to see my first Chevrier in person.

I tried from GP for a print and crapped out.

I know what you mean about the sketches also though. I love hand drawn stuff which is why I might have succumbed. It's mental to think until recently smaller studies/collages used to go for a couple of hundred Euros.

How long you going to hold onto the black before listing her? just curious of price and time frame.

It's true, but thanks to the current conversion rate for the U.S. dollar, it only cost $10 more than the last two through C.O.A. - which made the price a little bit easier to swallow.

It was less than what they are selling on the open market, so there is always that.
