I think I may have asked this when the first lenticular came out, but what's the consensus on best long-term storage solution for them, in particular the 4mm ones?
Right now I have just kept them in their original cardboard shippers, but as I'm up to 3 of them, not sure that will continue to be an effective approach when space is somewhat at a premium.
Is there any issues in storing them long-term in a binder?
Until I can afford the lightbox frames, my plexes are going to be stood upright either on the floor or on a chest of drawers against the wall. My flat is a tiny studio so no chance they will be on the wall anytime soon.
That makes sense.
I would hope a portfolio like the Baroque ones would work, definitely wouldn't put a ton of them in there, maybe even keep a sheet of cardboard between every other one. I was thinking I would lay it flat though as all my other portfolios are under my bed to keep them from taking too much space. Not sure if having them flat with possibly other things on top could cause any issues though. I guess I could just keep it standing in my closet in the portfolio box.

Even though I bought the BTTF Part 1 third party on here to complete the trilogy I think I might re-buy it to match Part 2 and 3. I kinda don't mind how different they look. But no white border and better colors would be great too.
I'd be down for a reprint..

Do the light boxes from BNG work with both the 1mm and 4mm?

They are two different types of posters. The backing on the 1mm prevents light to go through.
It does work on some but we can't advertise it because its not always 100%.

Yea the CMYK sort of made it a different color so the new one would be more exact to the original painting. Still figuring it out.

Thats the plan but but since we did the second screen print we have received I want to say close to 150 emails to reprint the first one due to the white border and the cmyk printing causing the color change.
We are trying to figure that out because even though a majority probably want this, we also don't want to anger the people who don't realize the differences. Maybe something like a discount if you purchased the first one?
Oh my dear lord, count me in. Do you mean a full screen printed release or just lenticular?
Also very interesting you say it was CMYK screen printed. I'm a nerd for this sort of thing and spoke with a few artists about this particular print not looking great and the consensus was that it was due to it being CMYK (i.e. process colours made up from tiny dots instead of using solid colours). However, I finally managed to get HCG to respond to my question and it turns out it wasn't CMYK, they claim they used 10 colours at least. In any case both the colours and the separations aren't great whatever happened there.

Yea meant both.
Def won’t comment on what other ppl do but it will definitely be a different process that matches 2 and 3.

Only took several hundred emails.
Looking forward to picking up a better printed BTTF1.

The Thing Lenticular Limited to 150 and 300 for each version. So much for actually having a chance to obtain one. Was really hoping for a timed release.
