To each their own, especially as some of us own 10 prints and others own hundreds, but bagging every single print you own, only to put it in a flat file, just seems like overkill.
In my experience, loose sheets of glassine between every print is a huge pain in the ass to have in the flat file. I like the sleeves so taking prints in and out is easy and runs no risk of scuffing. I've also had prints with thicker inks, hand finishing, lino print etc. where the ink has stuck to glassine or tissue, so i only use those for shipping or flattening but not long term storage.

^exactly my experience. little bit of a pain in the ass to bag at first, but once they are in there, makes handling and pulling in and out of the flat file soooo much easier.

so are these the same sleeves, just without the holes to add them to the portfolio? I have a flat file, so no need for the portfolio asap, but I'd probably be getting one sometime soon. Debating whether to get portfolio sleeves or flat file sleeves I guess, if there's a difference.
seems that way.

pretty sure it's been stated that they will not fit in the old portfolios.

Just picked one of these up. I dont have room for a flat file, and my collection is not that big on prints. THIS is going to work perfect. I can slide it under the bed and not worry about prints getting messed up. Good price on this and big ups on the discount.

Hell yeah +1. It's my goal to get a flat file in the coming year, but this will be very useful either way.

I recommend all artists who do conventions to grab one of these. Run out of wall space, slap this baby on the table and your good to go. Will be buying

False. It was the newer refills from picturesque that were super tight.
