This fudge isn't for me. I can never go down this rabbit hole.fantasticninja wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 10:59 amLOL what possible could you have seen on google that turned you away from Tim Pool? He's a moderate/center Left. Holy cow..
+1 for Shawshank, Hellboy, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Hook or even Masters of the Universe. Of course, Indiana would be amazing, but apparently it doesn't seem likely to become a reality.KSUvet wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 6:30 pm*Cough* Creature *Cough*acidburn wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 11:39 ami dont think we have access to anything else.
The SW posters I tried for a bit but couldn't get it done.
His work is obviously incredible but in a sales perspective, I'm not sure how many I would sell of other pieces. Like Fievel or Adventures in Babysitting. The costs to print, even now are just insanely high.

Signings seem to be done for big editions. At least not anymore for our releases. Its too much for him due to him being older. Grateful we got to work with him as much as we could.
The lenticulars were a nice idea because it was a way to work/give back to the studio in a different way that doesn't require signing but now its harder to put credits on certain things

Those days are basically done for the most part.
I do think you've done most of what makes sense. Obviously you mentioned SW and I'm guessing Indiana Jones is in the same category. I think Shawshank would sell. Maybe Hellboy.
Shawshank - Tried. Really tough to do.
Hellboy - licensing changed last time i checked. Couldn't do.
Harry Potter - not allowed to do fine art for. Had the license for a day then they took it away haha. Think Dark Hall got one out then they took it down.
Indiana/SW - tried. Longer story there but yea tried multiple times.

I always remember you telling me why Hook's not gonna happen and it's just hilarious how much of these things aren't about interest or money. Thanks for trying though.

Maybe 'The Cannonball Run'? It's a great poster.
You really want me to go out of business? Youre killing me here.
Mondo could prob pull it off. Wish we could but it’s all good. I love doing what we do.
As for Hook, that’s just more a Sony thing.

At this point I think you all get more traffic than Mondo for movie prints. It would be a beaut. But hey, I even want a 'Coffy' and 'Foxy Brown' print too..
No no they’re def still very much up there and rooting for them with Funko. I like to think we are different.fantasticninja wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 2:42 pmAt this point I think you all get more traffic than Mondo for movie prints. It would be a beaut. And the issue with a movie like Man on Fire is that you are really only going to buy the poster if it’s really really good. If you don’t like the artist or the poster isn’t exactly what you pictured in your dreams, you aren’t buying it.
We have a way better chance of selling a more commercial property because it just connects to a bigger audience.
I imagine some commission group is doing that? Not sure how they’re all doing with thjs printer shortage
While I cannot condone listening to Tim Pool, had to drop in here to say that my brother got to live a dream when he met Elisabeth Shue on the set of the Bruce Willis Death Wish (his friend was the onset doctor (also an onscreen doctor for that movie)).fantasticninja wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 9:47 amHmmmm, I like her on Timcast but nah. She's no Elisabeth Shue.
