Stick with it.
The 2nd/3rd seasons are a completely different (far better in my eyes) feel. I liked the first season a lot, but people who I know would *really* enjoy 2&3 couldn’t make it through 1.

Street of Fire is the most precious gem of a film I've ever watched. The opening alone is one of the best. There's a huge cult following for the film too. I'm always amazed when there's no talk for a print.
If memory serves the episode where they’re trying to get into the national park(?) was/is the litmus test for those pro and meh Leftovers. Both seem to have seen the same thing and described events similarly, only the pros were wowed and the mehs...meh’d by ‘em.
just a foil for me today, thanks

Have negated the Leftovers, just moved that up to start after I go through Fargo which is fantastic. Loved S1, loving S2...maybe BNG can add that series to the list.
Fargo is solid. All of them.
I forget which season is which, but I really enjoyed the ones in the 70s and the last one with Chris Rock and Andrew Bird (admittedly in a much smaller role, but still cool).

I will echo that Fargo is great. Ewan McGregor in season three is fantastic.
