I really don't know why the variant set is so much more visually appealing than the regular, but it sure is. Maybe the large black area at the bottom isn't so noticeable/awkward with the variant? Not really sure. +1

Sold out surprisingly fast for something we only got an email for 2 minutes before live. Have no interest in the timed edition. The colors just ruin the theme of the images. Monochromatic or bust!
