Some artists also extremely rude to me and string me along for 5 years.
Definitely not trying to be negative with all of that. I've only had a handful of not the best experiences doing this. I love what I do and basically all artists I've worked with have been incredible.
It also comes down to me personally. For many years, you just think everyone wants the same end goal but then there are a few who just don't. It's easier for me to understand that now compared to 4-5 years ago.
There are definitely a few artists that I've still tried to work with but honestly think those ships have sailed. It is what it is. It's unfortunate but at the end of the day, it's actually more of a positive then a negative because then it pushes me to find other artists who do want to work here with us and then I get to utilize what I do behind the scenes with them. Thats a big part of what I love doing and which in the end, I like to think makes us more of an asset to an artist then just posting in their FB artist groups because anyone can do that.
