Any insight on the OBEY portfolios being released?
hopefully within 2 weeks. Sent in marketing images for approval. Will be similar to our previous artist models (comes with 40 sleeves) but this actually has a screen print layer + emboss. First time we've done that.

oh man, typical dont like star wars prints, but this is interesting
It looks like the lenticular has the same problem as the previous one. The background image is part of the glow around some of the laser bolts, so the 3D effect is a little off. This one isn't as bad as the previous, but it's still there on a few of them.
Stupid question do you own the original or just basing it on the digital jpeg? Felt like the 3d effect on the original was one of the best lenticulars we’ve produced ( Kong Vs Godzilla I thought might have been my favorite).
The digital render is just the closest mock-up we can get to the physical.
Yep, it's up on the wall in my office. I love everything about it, except that one problem with the lenticular. There are parts of the background that move with the laser bolts in the foreground instead of staying in the background layer, so certain things are always out of alignment.acidburn wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 10:05 pmStupid question do you own the original or just basing it on the digital jpeg? I think I can see an example. If you look at the bolt directly to the left of the title, as it moves across the leg of the soldier you can see part of the outline of his leg move with the bolt. Like you said, it's just a mockup, but I think that's the effect that is mentioned. I don't own the ANH lenticular so can't speak to the effect in person.
