That's kinda the #point.

PS if you want ET large and in charge on a poster, theres tons of other ones to be had.
Glad you #likeit. I didn't say I wanted anything, I just think LD overemphasized that element in this poster. Lookit how big that goofy lion is.
I think Spielberg overemphasized the goofy lion from the get go.

That monkey is either high AF or ET is using his glowy finger in a pleasing way!

glenn1 wrote:That image illustrates my complaint, though. That lion is maybe 2x as big as the chimp, but on LD's the lion is 4x as big. You don't have to be so salty that one person doesn't share your love of this poster. I find it distracting, you and 499 other people don't. C'est la vie.
There's no salt, I'm just pointing out that its a somewhat literal take on the shot.

Kudos on Mark's Falcon piece. It's hard to find anything original and cool to do with SW posters anymore, but I think that one is really great.

So much good stuff. I'll be attending Saturday, but on a pretty tight budget. I'm hoping that RJB lasts until then, but I'm not holding my breath.

Great job by the BNG crew today.
It was a decent wait in line, but to help make up for it, they were offering free pins and apologizing for the wait.
Thanks Joe & team!

To my eye, ET's head is around the same size as the lion's eye and nose area in both the poster and screenshot. And there's no way the lion is 4x the size of the ape on the poster. Someone can probably do some photoshop comparisons, but I think your spatial awareness is off.

Yeah, but I didn't get same day shipping on my online order this time, so they still have room for improvement.
