First print I've grabbed in a long time. Love the image, retro colors, vintage design. Win. Win.

When did the Fitzgerald ESB go up?
One of the main things I love about this print is that 70's/vintage feel to it, with the colors and illustration itself. First thing I thought of when I saw the reveal was art you'd see for the Jaws Universal Studios ride - something exaggerated and funwonkabars7 wrote:Happy to nab that Jaws reg. Ha, I have pictures of me as a 4 year old cowering in the corner of the boat while the shark was coming up out of the water. Love it.

Sucks that they got rid of all those rides - King Kong, Earthquake, BTTF, Jaws were all classics - RIP. Even though they were dated, still tons of fun + nostalgia. Really surprised E.T. has lasted, but I guess it's not in the direct path that got wiped for Harry Potter.earlgreytoast wrote:Ha, I have pictures of me as a 4 year old cowering in the corner of the boat while the shark was coming up out of the water. From Wikipedia but a possible reason why it's still there. The Orlando version was also slated to be removed as well, but Steven Spielberg, who directed the E.T. film and already angered by the removal of the Hollywood and Japanese versions, threatened to end cooperation with Universal Studios if it made attempts to do so. As a result, the Orlando version is still operating as of 2017, and also got a refurbishment that year. E.T. Adventure is expected to open at Universal Studios South Korea in the near future.

Man remember that Jaws ride... wish I had a picture of that but do with my brother and our 80's socks lifting the ATeam van and one with Starscream... ahh the good old days.ccsmd598 wrote:Sucks that they got rid of all those rides - King Kong, Earthquake, BTTF, Jaws were all classics - RIP.
