You read my mind exactly. My wife loves that movie, meaning it's something I can actually buy without getting chewed out.

Really love the old school, classic/pulpy feel of these prints by Ferguson. I would kill for there to be a Dune one, though. Looking through the gallery just constantly reminds me of the old Dune saga paperback covers.

Dune was on my backup list. Maybe next time.

Glad to hear it was under consideration. I feel it fit into the theme nicely, especially given how heavily the landscape/environment features in the overarching storyline.

That said, I think it speaks volumes that the only criticism to offer here is the omission of personal favorites. Really nicely done, especially in terms of how well the works are linked together stylistically and thematically as a larger group. Personally I find the more classic/throwback style both refreshing and welcome. Well done.

Always been a huge fan of Matt's work and I have a soft spot in my heart for Bottleneck as the discovery of there site got me into prints... Was wondering with the preview sale how many copies of each print goes on sale? 1? 2? 10? Hoping I can make it on Friday but I've been ill all week.

Edit: my apologizes, i responded to the wrong thread. This was intended for the Englert Pawnee print.

Was there going to be a preview sale today or just tomorrow? Thought I read something somewhere.

Edit: Nevermind found it

damn, lots of great pieces... neverending story has got to be my favorite of the bunch. It's definitely the one that I look at and can hear the music from the movie in my head.

Love those rich Purple/pinks and blues in Dune's (movie) imagery. When looking at the blurred preview images I did wonder whether we'd be seeing a mouse shadow on the second moon in one of them.
