I'd love an Olly Moss villain: G-Man the most, or maybe Egg Man if I can't get that one.

I would like some amusing SDCC anecdotes to cheer me up, since I doubt anybody'll be putting up anything remotely flippable on the SDCC Hookup Thread. :P

Friday morning I go to Olly's booth with Celcius to get Olly to sign basically everything from my flat file and chat. Olly was just leaving, but said he'd be right back.

Mike Mitchell is sitting there looking like death warmed over (this is the morning after the EB meet-up / Mike Mitchell buys us all 10 pitchers of beer evening). We ask how he's doing, he said he has a massive headache and is hurting. Someone asks for a sketch, he says he doesn't feel up to it but maybe later.

I ask him if he wants some ibuprofen (as someone with tension migraines, I don't travel without it, especially when hauling bags/tubes around all day). He's like "uh, yeah, you have some?" So I whip out an Advil PM bottle that I store all of the various medications I might need in (Advil PM, Advil, Excedrin, ecstasy, viagra.... only 3 of those are true), and let a couple of ibuprofins roll out on the table.

Mitchell looks at the Advil PM bottle and is incredulous. I assure him they are regular ibuprofin. He looks at them, looks and me, and downs them.

That's probably my best artist story. Though Olly did later sign everything we brought with all sorts of various colored pencils and shot the fudge with us for a while which was good times.

Oh and Drew Struzan said I was making him feel old when I met him and talked about how I'd had his work up on my walls since I was a kid.

How this story doesn't end with Mike Mitchell have a 4 hour erection is beyond me.

Shouldve lied to make the story better.

Oh and will someone hook me up with a Kitties JLU (jabba) at a decent price?
