8bit Games Series
Hey EB friends,
I made these a while back to hang in conference rooms at my office, but they didn't want to pay to print them. I'm thinking about starting a series dedicated to our favorite 8bit games and screen printing a small run of each. I'll add more as they come. What do you guys think?

I did a few 8/16-bit screenprints in 2011/12 and they turned out great. I say go for it!
I'd love to see those! Did you print them yourself?CrystalLake wrote:I did a few 8/16-bit screenprints in 2011/12 and they turned out great. I say go for it!

The Half and Half did the printing. I did quite a few Childhood/Video Game-themed shows in 2011.

Yes, Metroid! Can we maybe have a shot of Pit from Kid Icarus?

Totally. These were originally designed to hang on conference room doors in our office, so the titles were necessary. All the rooms are named after popular coin-op arcade games we loved to play back in the day. This is just a good opportunity to get into screen printing, something I've been wanting to do for a while.halftonegraphics wrote:sans text.

That's awesome.... You are making me want to get into it as well. Although I don't have an artistic bone in my body. I'm just a consumer, ha.Parzival wrote:Totally. I wonder how hard it is to get into screenprinting....
Ok guys, I was reading through some of the comments in the iam8bit gallery show and saw some love for a personal NES favorite. I switched gears a bit and decided to start a more focused series. Here's a preview of what i'm working on. Look familiar?
