Hey everybody!
I wanted to start a thread here regarding my work, future projects and general discussion. I do have a facebook page where I sometimes give some previews not shown anywhere else and that is located at http://www.facebook.com/pittidesart and you can also subscribe to my newsletter where I give my subscribers exact drop times and such on my website www.pittidesart.com
I would love to hear from art fans and such here on their thoughts on my work. So let's get started:
Today on my website, I will dropping a ton of archived prints at a random time, including printer proofs of The Summer of 1974, Battle For Santa Poco and the Summer of 1974 Handbill Sets. I recently found the uncut sheets of the handbills in my flat file ( I thought I accidently threw them out). Of the 8 sheets I found, 5 good sets could be saved. They have a slight registration shift on the metallic silver layer but not much. Black layer seems fine. If interested, the prints drop between 11:45am and 12:12am CST (Subscribers got the exact drop time ).
I just finished my entry for the next group show at Bottleneck Gallery in July. I cannot say much in regards to the theme or name of the show yet or what my piece is but I will say my print will be a edition of 35, 11.75" x 36" (Standard frame size) and will be printed on Red Metallic paper.
Today I begin pencils for Frightfest Originals 18" x 24" screenprint of Peter Jackson's Braindead (Dead Alive to those in the States). Should be released sometime in July
Plus I have planned prints throughout the summer for Ghostbusters and Blazing Saddles.
Thank you to those who purchased Saint Vader this weekend from the Hero Complex Gallery. The regular edition is sold out and I have asked the gallery to remove the page from the site to not confuse anyone as my AP editions will be released shortly. Thanks to Adam and HCG for all their hard work and dedication to the hobby!

Blazing Saddles I am planning on to be in the same vein as my Santa Poco print ( Vintage western look) so they can compliment each other. Will be fun for sure!
My next planned print is for the Bottleneck Gallery for the show on July 12th. They should announce something in the next week or two ( I am sure someone will find a flyer at the solo show next week). So to tide you over. Here is a very small sneak peak:

Thank you! I love that style and would work well for so many of the westerns I grew up watching, especially Blazing Saddles.pittidesart wrote:Blazing Saddles I am planning on to be in the same vein as my Santa Poco print ( Vintage western look) so they can compliment each other. I agree. it is a bit a trilogy of comedy western prints I had in mind. So we got Three Amigos, now Blazing Saddles, what do you think the third and final one will be?

Maverick or Young Guns? Maybe BTTF 3 or if you felt like pissing people off, you could do ICP's Big Money Rustlas.pittidesart wrote:I agree. it is a bit a trilogy of comedy western prints I had in mind. So we got Three Amigos, now Blazing Saddles, what do you think the third and final one will be?

I know it's a bit different from your other work, but I would love to see a "Rango" print.Of course "Support Your Local Sheriff," "Young Guns," or "The Terror of Tiny Town" would be a welcome addition.pittidesart wrote:I agree. it is a bit a trilogy of comedy western prints I had in mind. Can't tell much from that preview, but I have my fingers crossed for "Carrie" or "The Shining."

Despite classic lines like "I like your ass; can I wear it as a hat?" I'd sooner we vote Airplane! a western and go with that over any of these.Hutwe wrote:City Slickers or Shanghai Noon?
Does Crocodile Dundee count as a western?
