It's supposed to be mittens, the "hands" are supposed to be the thumbs of the mittens. Who knows why. I guess to make it look like spreading cheeks

But the mittens are like 6x the size of the hands. I can now kind of see that the hands are the thumbs of the mittens, but the mittens don't make sense. What a laughably bad design.
