Amazing. When I was a young lad Ivan Lendl was my uncle Joe's neighbor in Greenwich Connecticut. He used to come over and play tennis with us on my uncle's court during BBQs. My uncle was one of the guys who ran American Express and his other neighbor was Leona Helmsley... so this was not your normal neighborhood. I never knew Lendl was such a big collector. I don't think 7 year old me would have really cared much... but boy would I kill to go back in time and ask him to see these!! Jaw dropping!!

That is an amazing exhibit. Having seen the Mucha Museum I was most struck by seeing all of his work at full size - his seasonal ladies 10' tall. Mind blowing. This exhibit seems to be at another level.
Also, +1 throwing in Sperry's Margot!!! ;^>

soooo... I recently bought a house and the seller left quite a bit of stuff behind because she was downsizing. One of the things she left behind is a giant Mucha poster. Although I know very little about late 19th century poster advertising, I know enough to know these posters are not cheap! Thus I assumed it was a reproduction, because I wouldn't think she would leave something so valuable behind. (she had quite a bit of money and everything she owned was pretty expensive - her dining room table alone was $20,000). Anyway, I took the poster off the wall and looked closely at it and took measurements of it (while still in the frame) and I am 95% certain it is an original Mucha poster. Can anyone on this thread give me a few pointer on how to authenticate it? (the interwebs have not proven too useful). Also, if it is an original print, I think I may want to sell it. As beautiful as it is, it just isn't my style, and there are some original paintings I would rather buy with the $5K+ I think it might be worth. Next question is where do I even go to sell something like this, I would love to stay away from auction houses if possible, but that might not be feasible. Open to hearing all your thoughts and suggestions!

CodeBlue,
Not exactly... To the best of my knowledge, no one really provided me the info I was looking for. Then I discovered this thread this evening and figured this might be the more correct/knowledgable audience.
Wasn't trying to be annoying, just trying to find the right, knowledgable people.
I am sorry for the duplicated efforts on your part!
