Woah. Eerily similar. That must have been source material for the illustration.

Hey guys- still getting 'em out, logging about a dozen per day, fast as I can go without messing things up... pretty sure handfinishing all these prints has taken a few years off my life
simplyrob wrote:Man, I really wish I knew the reference material for like half of JC's stuff. Beautiful prints, but I have no idea if they're from a film, something I've never seen, books, or if they're just completely made up.
I need to get better at this, I love talking background/process but rarely get the time to do it-- would be great to get a 'real' website up soon so I can post other semi-interesting background info on prints-- I get bored easily so process is always so different, would be nice to record how many paths you can wander down to eventually get to the same destination..

re: 3 Voices- yep this one began as a simple practice study, something I dont get time to do much anymore ... wasn't initially intended to be anything but warmup, then the note and figure showed up to play out their sad storyline on the dock and imo it became something a bit more poignant

Mine landed yesterday, got it when I got home from work so I haven't had a chance to fully check out goodies it had. I did get my "Pretty things float" AP and there was a bonus print, Rising to Sleep Black and White and No Man's land, which is available.

Preview from JC, will be at MondoCon...

I'd guess it's an art print, would be a pleasant surprise to hear Mondo has the Indy license though...

Because it's the print we deserve, but not the one we need right now. So we'll hunt it.

Let's not start sucking each other's dicks quite yet.

Indy indeed from the looks of it. Maybe another "inspired-by" art print series?

It's definitely Indy, his tweet of the preview said as much. Just wondering if it's an inspired-by art print or Mondo-licensed official thing...guessing the former.

Hey, JC! Looking forward to the full reveal of your Indy. Got a few questions. For those of us in the NG, that have received our second tubes, is that the end of the subscription? Were there shirts or did that get axed? Just wondering. Thanks again!

It's Indy because of the tweet accompanying the preview: "Turns out my staff was too long... that's better".
