New Dario Argento / Suspiria Poster by Dan Mumford _ Available at Dark City Gallery - http://www.darkcitygallery.com

Info taken from Dark City Gallery newsletter:

Back in 2012 we launched our officially licensed series of Dario Argento posters with the Italian artists Malleus. The series was very popular and many of these limited edition prints sold out quickly, most notably Suspiria. Sadly, many fans missed out on this print, due to high demand and the limited nature of the prints.

However, because this year is the 40th anniversary of Suspiria, we thought it was a perfect time to produce a new poster for this classic horror film and it would give anyone (who missed out on the first Suspiria posters) another chance to own something special for this film. So, we can now reveal this incredibly elegant (and brand new) Suspiria poster by (London based artist) Dan Mumford.

Suspiria regular edition by Dan Mumford. An 18 x 24 inch screen print, Limited edition of 150, signed and numbered, priced £40. Hand screen printed by White Duck Editions.

From the Dark City Gallery Facebook page:

In May 1958 Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo premiered in San Francisco and legendary graphic artist Saul Bass produced his revolutionary one sheet poster, which has become a landmark in graphic design and cinema history.
Now in 2018, Dark City Gallery have been given the exciting opportunity to produce a brand new pair of official posters, celebrating the 60th anniversary of this Hitchcock masterpiece.

More details coming soon...

Illo looks pretty good. Dare I say Moss-esque?

Kind of... I guess these are very bold, like Moss's work.

Malika uses far less gradient than Moss and her work is generally more colourful and minimalist. She's pretty famous in Europe now. I hope you guys enjoy her work in the US! Her style is very beautiful, check it out... http://malikafavre.com

The prints looks great - I love the minimalist, geometric approach.

If her style was reminiscent of anyones, I would think it would be Thomas Danthony. At first glance, I was fairly certain these were from him!

Either way, it's nice to be exposed to a new artist. I hope to see more of her stuff.
