Really nice print. Good luck on the other thing. I tried that and still have a flat file full of stuff...
Thanks and yeah, hopefully my resolution sticks. In the last month or two, I think I've done a better job at passing on some stuff that I was initially like, that's cool, but not immediately in love with which I may have bought before. Realizing all those $50-70 prints really start to add up $-wise when you also add in things like shipping. Better to get some bigger ticket items instead that I have always wanted.

Want to figure out a quantity of prints I feel comfortable with, then get to that point by selling the excess. Then from then on, I would have to get rid of one to add another.

^ That’s a great print. In my opinion, one of the most powerful prints out there.

I was moving some prints today (again, lol), looking for something I was sure where it is supposed to be (it wasn’t there) and holy drymount I have a lot of stuff. Every time I am almost surprised by the amount of paper.

Quality over quantity. I can dig. Best of luck!

Always been a big fan of the artwork that Ralph McQuarrie did for the original Star Wars trilogy.

When I was a kid I even briefly met him at a comic convention and had a couple posters signed that got damaged over the years. I can only imagine the cool original artwork he was probably selling back then that I didn't pick up.

Bought this awhile ago from Sideshow and it finally showed up yesterday. Just a giclée print, but of nicer quality and limited to 195 pieces.

Excited to finally get the signed/numbered one in my collection. Will be the first step of buying far less, but more desired prints and getting rid of some other stuff in the collection that will never make it on a wall.

Really think it's a striking image.

Congratulations! It's such a great print and the colors on the screenprint look awesome. I have the offset series, which I also love though 3 24x36 prints take up a lot of the wall space in our house at the moment. This one is in our kitchen and the other two are downstairs. I also told myself I'd be more selective, and generally have been, but the portfolio is also getting full again as retail therapy kicks in....

I just put up this Tim Gough print that pairs nicely with Mel Kadel, John Vogl, and the We The People red/blue combos in our kitchen.

I just picked up some photo prints too, so need to see if there’s a thread for that.

Also, RBG is ready as a Mother’s Day gift:

^ Very nice, mate. As usually, lol.

Shop framed or your diy projects?

Tomquinn, nice as well. What kind of frames are those?

Thanks! These are all the walnut 502a from Frame Destination. Most of the art prints in our house are in the same frame and photo prints are in their black 815.

The Gabz Indy is one of the only prints I deviated on.

Been a minute - picked up this little beauty of a print from a kind member a few weeks ago. Stoked to add another classic Esao image to the collection :pint:

People use to shun propaganda as it used art to try to influence and manipulate people's political ideas and opinions .
Times have changed , people eat it up now and artist have made a career of it
I’m not sure if you’ve ever heard of the Roman Catholic Church…

But you should take an art history class if you believe that “ People use to shun propaganda as it used art to try to influence and manipulate people's political ideas and opinions “. If anything, I would argue the opposite to be more true.
