Finally...floated, which took some doing bc of how heavy the board is.eleaf wrote:thanks! - def post a pic or two. I guess the euro to dollar was a bit better at release. so its about 100-125$ north where it was originally. but price shouldn't scare, imo.wonkabars7 wrote:^ That looks great. Will post a pic of mine tomorrow.
The remaining few available are there because of the price point: a fair one for what you get but weeds out the poors and the low risk instaflippers.

Hey wonka... It looks like this had to be a custom size frame... so why is it there an extra inch or two at the bottom between the print and the frame, where you can see through the glass to the floor and baseboard?
Just curious.

^ Good question
I have several vintage three sheets that I like to display, so I bought this flip frame from Spotlight Displays/Robert to rotate them in. The Mockingbird three sheet was printed a tad shorter than the full 84” thus the extra space for reg size ones plus I got it a tad bigger to account for linen borders.

Suggestion: Add some sort of white paper that comes close to matching the print stock color, to fill the void at the bottom

If you're ever in NYC, you should make an appointment to go by Metropolis Collectibles in Union Square - he's got some of the rarest posters in the world on display and in his collection - mostly classic Universal horror and serials. You'd really appreciate it.
