People said the same thing about the Hirst prints on aluminum. And they definitely flipped.
Not saying it'll happen here, but... it is possible.

But these will 100% sell for more than $3000 down the road. I just asked chatgpt and it said the Cube and Marilyn are your best bets. I told it duh.
If you look at how the product is listed on HENI in the code it’s something like INVDR1-1 INVDR1-2 I’m sure the way HENI pumps fudge out there’s gonna be more of these releases. Possible this is the only open edition one tho trying to gauge interest. Also agree w the crypto bro speculators, and I think they are accepting crypto so..soupysound wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 7:33 pmif i didn't own any invader prints... i'd probably go for camo. however, i don't think the XL size suits the image very well as the cubes are much larger than actual rubiks squares. it would have been better served being a smaller size.
with a timed edition ... and crypto bro speculators i imagine the price on these will be fairly depressed for quite some time. but for an invader fan/collector, pretty easy purchase. i imagine the long term price appreciation will probably depend on whether this is a one-off release with heni or if this is a signal of a future partnership. certainly hope invader doesn't turn on the supply faucet with heni timed releases.

1500 is less than what invaders last print (alert 2020) cost directly from the space shop and these are way bigger and I would bet cost way more to produce. Would it have been nicer if these were signed on the front of course but the sticker works fine and from a logistics standpoint makes way more sense. They are huge authorized invader works. My problem is more of the size than the cost. Still deciding to buy 1, 2 or 3 myself. Marilyn is definitely going on the walltalkingdeads wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 6:46 pmygolohcysp wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 10:07 pmThat Marilyn is so gd nice. Agreed, at $1500 they would have had me, but too big a piece to to gamble on just storing at that price. I dont think it would fit in my flatfile
That’s the one I really want. Curious what the print totals would be. Instead of open edition wish it was /100 or /150 and you knew the total. Damn they are 29 lbs+ygolohcysp wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 10:07 pmThat Marilyn is so gd nice. And you know it's gonna look really slick on metal
the 3'x3' size doesn't bother, but yah, just checked shipping on one to Denver and it's $148, oof (no taxes on the final price for the US, it looks like - sitting here considering logistics, hovering on that buy button)Cheese318 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 4:35 pmThat’s the one I really want.
