Thanks for the info.cerebus wrote:POW are supposed to be releasing one too (in a couple of different colorways). Don't know if it's the one referred to in Invader's post.kansasbbq wrote:Curious to know what the other print is going to be.

Me too. I suggested a while ago that they'd start getting moldy soon, even though they were vacuum sealed.fnord wrote:Anyone have a current picture of the waffle? I agree that I Iike Invader's sense of exploration and adventure. While the execution could have been a little more thought-out, I still like what I'm seeing...maybe for a few bucks less though.wompa164 wrote:The waffle was a really fun idea that confused a lot of people because it was so weird and original. Just a testament to him trying new things - how many other artists explore new mediums like that?rubberneck wrote:The POW embossed editions were the closest to capturing the feel of an Alias and you got a signature as well.
This and the waffles just show how he's running out of ideas. Granted it's a limited medium to begin with...
I just saw that space one 3d print and I'm not sure if I really get it.
I'm a fan of the piece in regards to the background of the piece (travelling in space and all), but I'm not sure if that is enough to trump the image being in 3d and looking pretty shitty outside of the short spans of time I would actually have 3d glasses on.

dont know how many have pulled out an old pare of red blue 3d glasses to take a look, but it does have a much deeper field than i expected. so there is some stuff to like in it, but am still a no go
I'm sure there is, but again considering how often I'm cruising my place with 3d glasses on I can't see picking this up. Personally, I think he should have scrapped the space pic and went with one of the earlier stills within the atmosphere. It's much cleaner IMO.maddoghoek100 wrote:dont know how many have pulled out an old pare of red blue 3d glasses to take a look, but it does have a much deeper field than i expected. so there is some stuff to like in it, but am still a no go
i want one of the space patches as a keepsake for the invasion of space but just cant bring myself to pay more in shipping than the item itself.
what i really want aside from a kit of the invader in space (and sorry to deviate from the subject at hand) is invader to release his kicks again with the signed box. im a dreamer.

The only adult in that video is a black guy hanging out with the whitest 12 year olds on the planet.

I think you MAY be missing the point. His art is now, literally, invading space. A print to commemorate that is a fantastic idea. Execution could be questioned but none of us have seen it in person so I will hold off on judging that for now. Hope I can nab one.hellosir wrote:What's going on? First the waffle now this?
