I'm thinking about making my own version of Aladdin Sane this weekend. In guessing the hardest part for me would be to find the perfect sized frame.
Soupysound- what did you attached the tiles too? The frame backing? I probably won't need spacers since I'm going to put the tile right up to each other.

yes. if i had to do it over again, i probably would use something a bit sturdier. the frame backing warped ever so slightly due to the weight of the tile. not a big deal, but something i noticed. probably depends on the size of the piece. the albino invader is 16x16 so weighs quite a bit more.cmatthews11 wrote:Soupysound- what did you attached the tiles too? Good point. Once I lay it out and get my dimensions I'm hoping Michaels will have a close fit as a lot of their frames have the really thick backing and I won't have to worry about getting plexiglass or something cut.
Hopefully the tile shop has a good selection of colors. I'm aiming for Pinky but haven't fully decided yet
Thanks!

I know, right? Because art appreciation boils down to the cost of the materials used or the ease to replicate.lsmith55 wrote:Why the lulz when they have the amazing opportunity to purchase $30 worth of fudge you can buy at a hobby store for the low price of $1,200???!!!Codeblue wrote:5AM PST. Luls.
