I bought a signed copy from GR at the LA art book fair a few weeks back, so they definitely had copies at some point. I'm surprised they aren't shipping yet.TKuczynski wrote:Still available here?
I don't know when it's shipping (after Feb 11 apparently), haven't heard anything and now I wish I had waited and ordered direct from JJTKuczynski wrote:Second edition of Fables is up for preorder for anyone as interested in art books as I am. Expanded with new covers and commentary and its signed.

I'm quoting this and pasting in the DB update thread. (FYI)666ways2love wrote:Just got 'Islander' in the mail. Super stoked and even more stoked it didn't get hurt. Love love my doodle on it.

glad I could actually be useful for once
I can't imagine this will go for too much if anyone wanted to grab a cheap, little James Jean doodle

James had a very nice write up about it. It is actually an obituary piece for a friend....I believe their wife passed and described it as having a pit wrenched from his heart that could never be filled again.

Going on five weeks since I ordered from GiantRobot... sweet
This is a really awesome magazine and each printing is limited to 1000 copies. Only three stores in the US stock them and I live less than a mile away from one of those three!
I think I'm going to pick up the first 2 copies in addition to this third. Looks terrific and the artists they showcase in the first 2 issues is a really well curated list.

Edit: Damn. Local store is sold out of issue #1. Going to have to pay exuberant shipping prices and buy one online if I want all three
