Not really. I think my fav is Parasola. Though Dolly Varden has really grown on me, and the embossing on Editor is #chefskiss. Pomegranate is obvs great as well, and at a run/price dat seems like a steal now. Haven't seen the new one in person yet, but I doubt it disappoints. I would chase down all his woodcuts before bothering with any of the #sculpted geeklays.electrachrome wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 8:07 pmonly one to really have, IMO

HARMONY
The hills are alive with the sound of music, with songs they have sung for a thousand years. A visual harmony of colors, textures, and composition echoes through the valley. The ululations of man and nature interlace the senses – the eyes drink color, the sound is swallowed, and the flowers of the uncanny valley take root in the mucosa.
Harmony will be available for 24 hours starting at 8:00 AM PDT on Tuesday, September 28 and ending at 7:59 AM PDT on Wednesday, September 29. The edition is limited by the number of prints sold during those 24 hours and never reprinted.
Image size: 22-5/16″ wide × 16-3/4″ tall
Paper size: 25-1/8″ wide × 20″ tall
Sculptural glass-like details and enhancements
Crystalline finishes and holographic linework
Intricately detailed and dimensional chop
Signed by James Jean and numbered

Agreed, got Murakami vibes the instant I saw it.
Thus is another easy pass for me. That'll be like 10 in a row now. The price point is definitely a factor and I certainly think more carefully at $500 a pop but I would have taken the leap if any had got me excited like the prints from a few years ago. The only one I regret not picking up is Eden. Keep coming back to look at that one again and again.
this aggression will not stand, man.
