Oh, and it seems the embossment on the new print has some kind of metallics on it. The straight-on photo of it, doesn't make that obvious.

Any idea where? I'll be there at the end of the week and would love to check it out.

No clue, yet. His post just says somewhere in Vegas. I'm guessing he's keeping it under wraps so he doesn't get a crowd. Once it's done, I'm sure he'll announce where it is.

If that's part of the same mural ^^ Then I think it might be at some noodle shop. That video post had "WIP" with a bowl of noodle emoji. Might even be the Noodle Shop at Mandalay bay? Total shot in the dark, but worth a try if they don't say before your trip

I'd be blue too if I were under water that long.

Blue. Green. Cyan. Aqua. Water. Blah blah blah.

Good luck Kramerica, that would def be cool to see in person. About The Shape of Water, I'm surprised with a timed edition there is only one flipper so far posting this on the bay. I have a feeling there will be a ton floating around soon tho.

What's that dude making like $50 tops? luls

Yeah these aren't going to flip - my guess is that the aftermarket for these will go the way of Struzan releases. Beautiful art for people who want to actually own it but I hope the asshats who buy multiples to flip down the road get stuck with them, especially since the edition size will be quite large.

Any guesses on what it'll end up at? Should easily pass 1k. I'm guessing around 1500...?

Probably - maybe higher I'm guessing.

Not sure how the MoNdOugHz are going to react since it's a giclee though!

I couldn't be more excited about this release though. The movie and image itself are beautiful and the printing just takes it to another level. With a timed edition, I'm sure he would have sold just as many with a simple giclee print of the painting but that screenprint overlay is quite drooly. Easiest decision to purchase.
