Any of ya ballers go for those full metal descendants? How much were they? Figured just by looking at em they must be several g's.

P.S. After receiving the pin, I can kinda see why they're calling the backing board a "print" since it's much larger than the usual backing and comes signed and numbered.

Image
The Forager convenes with the council of miniature sprites in a sylvan glen, the figures delicately illuminated with holographic foil and dimensional details. This elaborate print features a new evolution to our process: after much research and experimentation, we are finally able to achieve a special dew-like gloss that had previously been an elusive dream.

Forager III will be available for 24 hours starting at 8:00 AM PST on Tuesday, January 19 and ending at 7:59 AM PST on Wednesday, January 20. The edition is limited by the number of prints sold during those 24 hours and never reprinted. Limit 3 per customer.

*Due to the individually-crafted nature of each print, there may be unique variations in the gloss.

Image size: 20″ tall × 15″ wide
Paper size: 23″ tall × 18-1/2″ wide
Sculptural glass-like details and enhancements
Crystalline finishes and holographic linework
Intricately detailed and dimensional chop
Signed by James Jean and numbered
Release date: January 19, 2020
Price: $500

That’s pretty wild.
Storage / people trying to roll it down the line going to be rather problematic.

What's so hard about making something exactly an 18x24" paper size?

Do artist's really enjoy making framing/matting hard for people?

Can't wait to see it pressed against the glass in a $20 Hobby Lobby frame.

(it does look amazing)

That's all I can afford after buying it.

I guess I will have to resort to trimming it a bit. Oh well.

Don't worry, I will add spacers to protect that really cool dew like gloss technique.

The more I look at this, the more I like it. Don’t have any James Jean stuff yet though. Maybe now’s the time to take the plunge.
