I dgaf about the meat, just wish I didn't have to drop $500 if I want a timed giclee. I prefer an $800 woodcut, honestly. I am sure it will look amazing though.

$200 to $500 is pretty steep of a price increase. I liked his price point before but I'll have to REALLY like a release for 5 bills.

How dare he raise prices if the market will bear it! It ain't like he's way more popular now or anything. Luls.

P.S. This is ya'lls fault for all the clamor over the run of 5 hundo @ 5 hundo.

You can't fault him. He sees his stuff regularly sell for 500+ on secondary markets so he figures he's going to cash in. Is this the first open edition at $500? Will be interesting to see how many he sells. I like the image but def out that price.

The Editor (Night Mode) was open at $500. Sold 781 copies and it was released after the "Day Mode" version was released at the same price with an edition of 500.

Plus the last one, Lory, was $500 and timed and didn't have the same leadup as the Editor variant. It was inevitable - beyond the aftermarket, makes sense he'd prefer selling 6-700 prints at 500 vs selling 1000-1300 for 220-250.

Very nice image and one of his best in a while, but prob 200 bucks more than what I'd want to pay for it these days. However, I can understand where he's coming from. I'm sure it will sell just fine.

Who does his printing anyway? It is always top notch.

I was definitely picturing a ryden style meat dress before I went back a page.

Also yes the printing/embossing on these are amazing!

PP does a helluva job!!

They must have an NDA or some sort of contract exclusively with James.

Ya never see them post these prints on their insta. You would think they would show them off.

ummmmm - he might soon find out that leaving meat on the bone not only helps less wealthy fans that cant drop 500, but also helps increase popularity fan base

then again, maybe he doesnt give a toot and just another greedy artist

open edition for gosh sakes

The higher price point will eventually take the insta-flipper (10 on eBay type consumer) out of the equation. If you love the image, it’s far from an outrageous amount of money for a (very) well crafted print. If you don’t love it, there’s a very easy solution.

Bemoaning his success as a “greedy” artist sounds like the whining of a petulant toddler.
