The book is gorgeous (of course) and it's just a great read as well. Asaf and the writer Boaz Lavie are going to be at San Diego Comic Con for the release of the book, then the book's official release is a few days later on July 14th, then the show on the 17th. We'll be doing a pre-sale of the show.1000steps wrote:very stoked for The Divine, looks like it will be a fun read
wish I could make the show in SF
Yup! That's the plan! There are over 30 pieces, some are edition of only 2, 3, or 5 with only one 18"x24" print in an edition of 60. But also 18 of the pieces are for display only, those are the digital roughs and the page layouts. The show is a dissection of the book and how the art developed and the digital roughs just help to illustrate that.infrared90s wrote:Will there be an online sale?
Neither Tomer or Asaf will be able to make it out.infrared90s wrote:Great, thanks for the info. Will they (the brothers) be in attendance for opening night?
OMG Posters wrote:Evil Tender has teamed up with Tomer Hanuka to showcase a number of his images created for the upcoming graphic novel, The Divine. The show takes place on Friday, July 17th, but the prints will first be sold online next week. The main release, “Ghost Warriors”, is an 18″ x 24″ giclee, has an edition of 60, and will cost $60. There are also a number of smaller-edition pieces (made in tiny runs of 6-8) for $80 each. Everything goes up for sale online Monday, July 6th at 10am Pacific Time. Visit EvilTender.com.
