That was my first thought as well. Everything else has some depth, the shirt just looks flat.jjttdw wrote:The shirt look weird.....like a sandwich board.
Probably my least favorite of the 150 or 250 series.

Makes sense. A bunch of stuff was just off about this one, size, colors, price, doesn't say "Faile" on it. I love Faile but this one was an easy pass.bsharp wrote:114 (of the 250) left in the shop.Codeblue wrote:Will be an even bigger fail(e)ip than usual.

Are we sure there have been TWO 250 prints released? Is "Modern Living" considered the first of the 250 prints or just a stand alone print release? All the 150s were vertical prints and they were all described as 150 prints by Faile when they were promoted and released. Wonder Wheel 250 has the number 250 in the title, Modern Living did not.Count wrote:So far, I passed on both 250 prints - images don’t do it for me and I’m a huge fan of Faile. Really sad that this seems to spell the end of the 150s, which had a great run.
Modern Living is horizontal (not vertical like the 150 series and Wonder Wheel 250) and I can't find any reference of 250 series in the description (by Faile). I understand the price and edition number of Wonder Wheel 250 fall in the same parameters as Modern Living. But I don't think Modern living is part of the "New" 250 series. The quote below is the description from the Faile store when Modern Living was released. There is no mention of a NEW 250 series.....just "Inspired by the style of some past 150 prints..." I wonder if the idea for a NEW 250 series came after releasing Modern Living.
"Inspired by the style of some past 150 prints this print builds off that and adds in more layers, hand-painted bits and a bigger size, so not considering it a part of that series per say. At least a dozen variations in the set, printed backs and 4 Candy Stamps and as well (meaning even more pushed colors and variations in the set)! It’s a really nice studio edition and we’re excited to share."
