Member when they oversold a run of 150 and decided to make it 350, which included erasing the "1" on all prints to make it a "3".

That's how you kill a market.

The edition was originally 150, but due to a combination of the excessive grumbling in the collector community and the greed of a few of our more sociopathic members with questionable (nonexistent?) ethics, they decided to up the edition to 350 to raise more money for sharks, appease the masses, and discourage flipping except for in the case of dolphins and people stuck behind drivers going 45 on the 405 (they can flip all they want).

Ah, the good ole days.
Before commissions and eb outages, we had quality discussions on the merits of hiring the homeless and camping with kids for prints.
Good times.

Just seeing Stairway to Heaven on Thinkspace. Love the tigers and their motion. Really can't look at the framing of the scene though - the top cement overhang is mostly straight across but the stairs on the bottom are skewed down to the right - just seems so off to my eyes.

Aftermarket is pretty soft on plenty of older prints with the older style though.
Aftermarket may be soft, but if he released a new print with the old style, it would sell out same day like they used too, they wouldn't be sitting in stock like many of his current style, imo.

Dukes trying real hard to be JK which I guess I can appreciate but Keyes work tells a much more compelling story imo.
