The combo of payment plan, edition of only 50, plus a still undetermined small print edition of 50.
Just couldn't hold back and risk it. Look at the secondary costs of every other ed.50 print.

This is the definition of jumping through hoops to get this print IMO. Now if this print was a bigger version of drifting or some of this other, older highly-praised works, I'd be all over it. Or even if It was for End of the Trail. But this image, and the size, just doesn't seem to justify the expense and hassle of getting the sub.

Oh I agree fully. Biggest pain to obtain just 1 print ever.
But who knows what that small print could be of.... It could be an older work everyone has wanted.
Either way, White Elk will look great next to the others.

Ah yes, but the actual size of this edition of 50 seems much smaller than those others, especially, say, lifted. I'm with sheppa on this until the booze and Ambien renter my nightly routine.

Josh already said the smaller print has not been painted yet...the real question is will it be earth slice ? If yes I want the mini more than ghost as wall space is hard to come by :)

Looking forward to seeing what the mini prints are, maybe snag one at a reasonable price.

Congrats man! I'm sure we will feel better once September comes.
And think about it... Is anyone really gonna let one go for under $800 in the future? Considering most prolly bought in just for the JK alone. I know I sure won't be.

The gallery is allowing people to pay in installments. 200 now and one 200 payment before each of the last 3 prints. Risky on their part, but putting the Keyes last mitigates it a lot.

Ha, after all my blustering, I emailed about this. Only having to pay 200 each month put me over the edge, I went ahead and pulled the trigger. If I had been forced to pay all $800 right now, no way. But being able to space it out really makes it worthwhile IMO. I hate not getting the Keyes until the end but at least I am not out the $600 just waiting for it to show up.
