I dont even know wtf papyrus is aside from a reed. You get butt hurt hearing the word comic sans. I dont care if you send fudge to print shops and are an apple user. I use my eyes and create feels. Sorry you cant control that to a science like you think.

He made the font work for Shawshank, boogie nights, and eye wide shut somehow.

You’re right you can’t control people having different tastes but there’s definitely ‘science’ behind the method to giving designs ‘feels’, it’s not alchemy. I’m honestly surprised you like so much of his work with that mentality.

Maybe you like Boogie Nights and Shawshank because those titles are so close to the original fonts, Eyes Wide Shut isn’t much of a departure either. I think the Shawshank font choice is pretty ugly tbh and was hoping he’d change it up for something a little bolder.
